Using Oculus Air Link to connect your Meta Quest 2 to your PC

Using Air Link, you may link your Meta Quest 2 to your PC wirelessly via a secure Wi-Fi network. Please use Windows 10 for the best performance on Link and Air Link. Our Oculus PC software does not currently support Windows 11.

From your computer:

Visit oculus.com/setup and select Download Software under Oculus Link to get the Oculus PC app.

Please notice that the Air Link option in PC app > Settings > Beta has been deleted as of version 37. To launch into Air Link, the toggle is no longer necessary.

 From your Oculus Quest:

  1. Put on your headset and tap the oculus icon on your right Touch controller to access the universal menu.
  2. Hover and click over the clock on the general menu's left side. Select Quick Settings when it appears to bring up the Quick Settings screen.
  3. In the upper right corner, select Settings.
  4. Go to the Experimental tab.
  5. Enable Air Link by selecting the toggle next to it.
  6. Review the criteria for the Air Link, then click Continue. To begin pairing, return to Quick Settings and click the Air Link option on the left.
  7. In the Available PCs list, locate and pick your PC, then choose Pair.
  8. In VR, a pairing code will appear. Remove your headset and double-check that the code displayed on your computer corresponds to the code displayed in your headset. If you don't see a pairing code, verify sure your headset software and desktop app are both at least version 34.
  9. Click Confirm from your Oculus desktop app. Then put your headset back on.
  10. To start utilising Air Link, choose Launch.

Air Link may be launched immediately from the Quick Settings window after you've paired for the first time. 

Disabling The Airlink Option

  1. Put on your headset and tap the oculus icon on your right Touch controller to access the universal menu.
  2. Hover over the clock on the general menu's left side. Select Quick Settings when it appears to bring up the Quick Settings screen.
  3. In the upper right corner, select Settings.
  4. Go to the Experimental tab.
  5. Toggle off Air Link by selecting the toggle next to it.

Only share your Wi-Fi password with trustworthy devices and avoid utilising Air Link on a shared or insecure Wi-Fi network to help keep your Wi-Fi connection safe.
