How Many VR Headsets Do You Need for a Birthday Party?
One of the most important decisions when planning a VR birthday party is simple enough to ask and surprisingly easy to get wrong: how many headsets should I hire?

For a New Zealand birthday party, here is the rough guide we give most parents:
- 1 headset — 2 to 4 kids
- 2 headsets — 4 to 6 kids

Understanding wait time

With one headset, each child plays for roughly 10 minutes and then waits 30 to 60 minutes for another go. That is a long time for a child at a party. They get bored, they get distracted, and the excitement drains out of the room.
